The new Coachella inspired trend I love is flower crowns! They are so romantic and girly, you can use them for any occasion. They add the perfect touch to any outfit. So here's how to make your own personalized flower crown.

Step 1: Go to your local craft store and get materials; floral tape, floral wire, fake flowers, and flower pliers. (I got my materials from the dollar store)
Step 2: Take off the fake flowers off the stem they should just pop off.
Step 3: Take your floral wire and measure it to fit your head, and tape together.
Step 4: Tape the branch and wire together to stay that way you have more to work with. (Trust me it will be easier to glue)
Step 5: Then Snip the bottom buds off the flower so you can glue it on easily.
Step 6: Now its time to lay them out around the crown and then glue the flowers in the spot you would like them to be.
Step 7: The leaves left from the branches can now be used for the inside of the crown to hid all the hot glue. Simply hot glue the leaves to the inside of the crown.
Step 8: Wear it out and show me how your flower crown looks on Instagram #erikaalexisfashion

Denim on denim on denim it is so big this season, and a key piece to have in your closet. Have old jackets your thinking about donating? Now is the time to re invent your own way of wearing your jean jacket. Cut offs are really big this season. I decided with mine to just cut the sleeves, you can fray the end of the shoulder sleeve part for a more distressed look. You can also get really crafty by adding studs to add the edgy look or for a girlier look get a circle stencil and white paint to add polka dots. I would love to see what you did to your old jean jacket tag me on Instagram!

Can’t find anything to wear? Time to get organized the easiest way to find the trendiest outfits for me is to have an organized closet. Take a weekend to clean it all out! Start by making piles of things that you want and things you would like to donate. Another thing to do with the clothes that you do not want is throw a clothing swap party! Easy way to find new fashion finds! Once that is done organize by category dresses, shorts, jeans, short sleeve, long sleeve, and sweaters. Or figure out your own way to sort it out were you could find things easier. I have learned if everything is just put up on the rack I get to over whelmed. I would love to see how you guys have organized your closets, tag me on Instagram!
